Ruffled Headband

This project has been sitting in my picture folder for ages, mainly because this is the only decent picture I could get of it.  I have a serious goofball for a child. Serious. I loved this headband and need to change up the elastic so she can wear it again!

Home Sweet Home

Nothing like being 5 months in on your husband's deployment, living in your in-laws home to feel the importance of home and family.  We are extremely grateful to be so close to extended family while the hubby is gone, but we are ready to have our little family back together again.

I decided to put all of my reflection to use and came up with some art prints all focused on families and home.  Enjoy a preview and to order visit Sweet Daisy Designs.

Heat Transfer Vinyl Fun

I'm having way too much fun with heat transfer vinyl. Have you heard of it? Used it? It's so fun! I found mine at Pick Your Plum, but Silhouette carries it as well. Combined with my Cricut machine and Target... I'm unstoppable! ;)

I purchased a plain hoodie and some plain shirts, used my Cricut to cut out desired designs, ironed it on and kal-a-ma-zoo we have cute personalized shirts!
Here is Micah's new WSU hoodie, daddy is so proud!

And now little boy is so proud of his GREEN train shirt. This kid LOVES the color green, and the other day Hallie asked him, "Micah. When are you going to stop liking trains?" He replied, "NEHHAVERRR!" Yup pretty much I believe him 100%. This kid is passionate about all things train. Needless to say he loves it.

And this little girl loves all things princess and butterfly. It's difficult to see with the harsh sunlight, but her shirt says, "Once upon a time" and has a butterfly passing through it.

Two happy kids, once their mean mom let them go in out of the freezing cold wind! ;) Brrr!

Valentine's Day Outift

Hi friends! It's been too long. :)

I am absolutely in {love} with this outfit!
Complete with ruffles and polka dots galore!

Her shirt is designed using my Cricut and Heat Transfer Vinyl. (love!)

The skirt is a basic toddler skirt patterned after another skirt she owns, with just a little extra added length. I then simply added three rows of ruffles around the bottom.

I'm so in love with the classic black and white look, it'll be so fun to accessorize!
Then I sent all that cuteness packing!

But not before a shot of her matching headband, because seriously what outfit would be complete without a matching hair accessory.  ;)

Happy December! 24 days of Christmas Free Printable

I've created a list of activities for the kids and I to do until Christmas.  We will select one each day to complete.  I'm hoping this will help the deployment speed along and keep us nice and busy!

I borrowed some ideas from various other websites and came up with some ideas that will work for our own family.  Please feel free to use our 24 days of Christmas or create your own 24 days of Christmas with your own blank sheet.  Free printable for Personal Use only, please link back to the site and let us know what ideas you've come up with!
